  • 06 / 2010: Half a year of editing

So far, I spent most of my time in editing suites this year. I did some work for TV magazines, edited an exciting crime documentary and did a producer's rough cut of a big-budget international feature film. For Berlin University of the Arts I am working with students on an experimental documentary on the topic of "waiting". Writing for my own future film projects goes on as well.

I am doing final finishing touches in the editing right now, and a music score is being created by the highly talented film composer Philipp F. Kölmel. The full short film will be presented soon in the film festival circuit of 2010 around the world.

My new short film is in the can! Director of Photography Guntram Franke shot 10.000 feet of 16mm film and an excellent cast and crew made it a very special experience and a true New York film. See pictures from the set by photographers André Störiko, Aksel Stasny and myself here. We also had the opportunity to shoot aerial footage from a Cessna plane of New York City at sunset.
